VSPL has been awarded another large mandate “REC Quality Monitors for XII Plan REC Projects of Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (Erstwhile RGGVY)” in India.
DDUGY scheme is one of the key initiatives taken by Indian government; this scheme aims to supply 24*7 uninterrupted power supplies to all un-electrified villages/habitations. The scheme covers electrification of all the villages except the villages covered under the programme of MNES.
VSPL will undertake the following services:
1) Pre-dispatch material inspection at manufacturer’s premises
2) Field inspection for works to be executed
3) Verification of Bills of Quantity
4) To attend VIP reference/complaints received by client relating to quality of work
After carrying out similar services in 9 states of India, VSPL looks forward to provide above services for 4 more states in the country.

The city of Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Owing to its large harbor and strategic position along the east-west sea trade route, Colombo has been used by the ancient traders for more than 2000 years ago. The city is a vibrant mix of modern life and colonial architecture and hence attracts a lot of tourists annually.
The confidential client intends to undertake Re-development of Land project at Colombo, Sri Lanka and proposes to conduct Feasibility study for the same. This project is expected to be developed on PPP/ self-financing/ booking of units’ basis. As part of this Feasibility Study a techno-commercial analysis of location and site, its marketability, market study, demand estimation, product mix, financing structure and sensitivity analysis etc. has been undertaken.

Tamil Nadu is a favoured investment destination with a strong potential for manufacturing and if is to believe – the growth of manufacturing industry will be the major force in achieving the targets under ‘Vision Tamil Nadu 2023’. With the same objective, Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDCO) formulated a proposal for establishing a National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) in Ramanathapuram district which would be an Integrated Industrial Infrastructure with the aim to increase the level of investments in manufacturing industry and for capturing higher value addition in manufacturing goods made in the State.
Facing tough competition, Voyants Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (VSPL) bagged this assignment, proving once again their unmatched credentials in the field of “Integrated Infrastructure Designing & Feasibility Studies”.
The objective of the consultancy is to prepare a Techno Economic Feasibility Study for the purpose of firming up TIDCO’s requirements in respect to development and construction of the Project. A total of 5000 ha (50 sq.km.)has been specifically delineated as investment region.

Predominantly working in western region of Africa, Voyants has now made a foray in Southern Africa as well. Voyants now aims to prove its mettle in Handling Design Development and Supervision of Projects in Malawi.
Voyants will be undertaking Architecture & Design for a State of the Art office Building in Blantyre, Malawi (World Bank funded project). The project components include Offices, Conference Room and Training Rooms, Exhibition Hall, Library, Repair Workshops, Laboratories, Control Room and Cafeteria.
The proposed building is going to be the first Green Building in Malawi. It will be designed on sustainable design principles and strive to meet international best practices under green building designs. Other crucial design parameters include Rain Water Harvesting system, Natural Lighting, Accessible to Physically Challenged, Flexible Interiors, Security, Stability and Fire Safety.
Voyants plans to design this project in harmony with natural features and city landscape surroundings. This project will be an example of modern state of art building duly integrated with the Local Architecture, Culture Heritage and Ethos of Malawi.
Post its entry in Malawi, Voyants is now working in 12 African Countries (19 globally).

VSPL awarded its first Road design consultancy assignment in Ethiopia. Hitherto, VSPL was engaged in the Architecture & Design of the prestigious Incubation Centre Building near the Bole Airport (World Bank funded).
The road section originates at Gore and ends at Tepi. The length of this road will be approx. 140 km. The existing road section is a single lane facility. Voyants has to design this as a 2-lane paved road having 7m wide bituminous carriageway with bituminous surface dressing and gravel shoulders
VSPL was hired post an intense competitive evaluation process. VSPL has commenced services and intends to design this facility as per value engineering concepts so as to save construction time and costs for the Client. Topographical surveys and investigations are about to commence and traffic studies initiated to assess the road strengthening requirements.

Project : Planning and Surveying in Nairobi, Mombasa, Thika and Embufor Informal Settlements (Ministry of Land, Housing And Urban Development)
Duration : 12 Months
The project development objective of the Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP) is to improve living conditions in informal settlements in selected municipalities in Kenya. This will be achieved by improving security of tenure and investing in infrastructure based on plans developed in consultation with the beneficiary communities.
KISIP will also create and test a national framework for systematic improvement and continuing investments in informal settlements, which can reach all informal settlements over the medium to long term. In addition to supporting improvements in existing informal settlements, KISIP will also support the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development, and the selected County Governments in planning to help them anticipate and manage future demand for housing and environmentally healthy neighborhoods for Informal Settlements as cities expand.
